3. Placement: Turn on the device and place it on your index or middle finger. Make sure your finger is fully inserted and still.
4. Reading: Wait for the numbers on the screen to stabilize. The reading may fluctuate initially; record the highest oxygen saturation result once it has not changed for about five seconds.
5. Interpretation: A normal oxygen saturation level is typically between 95% and 100%, and a normal resting heart rate for adults is generally 60 to 100 beats per minute (bpm).
